Launched in 2007 through funding from the Bush Foundation, Travelers and Jostens, MEDA continues the development of a culturally competent and customized leadership program focused on leadership development, business development, and community development.
The three-year program is an invitation-only program so participants sign on with the understanding that they need to take ownership of their personal development and success. Leadership assessment, instruction, feedback, and coaching give each individual insight into his/her personal leadership style. In addition, each participating company is provided with an Advisory Council of experts in critical areas; the councils meet quarterly. The program provides a unique and holistic development opportunity for the entrepreneurs.
