2009 Volunteers of the Year Award
The giving culture at General Mills produced two phenomenal MEDA volunteers!
Deb LaBonne first came to MEDA as a loaned executive in 2008. She recognized the workload and MEDA’s capacity which caused her return as a MEDA Gala volunteer in 2009, even in her first year of retirement! Her technical and organizational skills reduced the stress and complexity of the Gala undertaking and the MEDA staff remains ever grateful for her knowledge, time and expertise.
Terry Brown served on the MEDA Board of Directors for over 12 years and chaired the board from 2002 to 2004. After his retirement in 2008, he left the board but still remains connected, offering to help a MEDA client move through some strategic changes. His commitment to our clients’ success never ceases!
