MEDA Champion Award
How fortunate can a small nonprofit get when a champion like Morris Goodwin, Jr. chooses to join its board. MEDA found itself exceptionally fortunate when Morris stayed on the board for twenty-one years. His corporate history at American Express and Deluxe pales in comparison to the leadership and impact he brought to MEDA. He is now the Chief Administrative Director at the Amherst H. Wilder Foundation. He served as Chair of the MEDA Board from 2000 to 2002 and helped Yvonne Cheung Ho find her stride as MEDA’s new president. He even starred in our 35th Anniversary video.
Throughout his service to MEDA, he provided a down-to-earth, honest and clear perspective on the value of MEDA services, its clientele and the unique partnership of the corporate Twin Cities business community and this lucky nonprofit organization. Our thanks go to Morris for his wisdom and leadership over two decades. He joins our short list of true Champions!
