MEDA would like to recognize

Andy Wells- Andy was awarded the SBA Small Business Person of the year.

Kojo Benjamin-Taylor, a MEDA Board member, honored with the International Immigrant Achievement Award Given by the International Leadership Institute.

Edgardo Rodriguez, Business Consultant at MEDA has been named the Minnesota Minority Small Business Champion of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration.

The Minority Small Business Champion award is presented annually in each state to individuals who assist small businesses through outstanding advocacy efforts on behalf of minority-owned small businesses.

MEDA was Awarded 2009 Advocacy Award

MEDA was honored with the 2009 Advocacy Award from the Women's Development Center! This Award is presented to an individual or organization for their contributions to the economic development and empowerment of women and minority-owned businesses, and for their support of the WDBC and our shared mission.

 

2008 MEDA Gala Wins ISES Award

The MEDA Gala "Passage to India" won the prestigious International Special Events Society (ISES) award for BEST EVENT FOR A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION!

With the help of WOW! Events from Kraus - Anderson MEDA was able to entertain our supporters through one of Minnesota's premier events - and at the same time - raising 20% of MEDA's operating budget. Thanks again to WOW! Events by Kraus - Anderson for helping make the MEDA Gala so wonderful. We look forward to seeing everyone at our 2009 Gala on November 14 - "Fiesta Latina" - at the Minneapolis Hilton.
